Prepping your home for sale

The presentation of your home is the most important step in meeting your financial goals for the sale of your property. To ensure we achieve this goal, Trava will make an upfront investment of up to 1% of our perceived sale price into repairs and enhancements so we can go to market with our best foot forward.
Step 3

Strategic pricing

Pricing your home correctly is crucial to standing out in the market, attracting interest and generating offers. Pricing a home is dictated by several crucial elements that include: timing, competition of homes for sale similar to yours and market activity. These elements can change daily which means we need to establish an overall value of your property early, watch the market and affix a final list price days before we go public (which could be higher or lower than our value estimate).

Step 4

Presenting your home to the market

Every home—yours included—will receive a customized marketing strategy. This includes high-quality visuals and storytelling that positions your home in a way that strikes a chord with the right audience that extends beyond the typical bed and bath count, square footage and generic descriptive text.

Once the marketing assets are done, we deploy a deep and wide execution of materials that blanket the neighbourhood and our entire database of agents who work with buyers and people on our mailing list.

Step 5

Managing offers and negotiations

As offers arrive, we’ll prepare each one for your consideration along with our recommendations. 

No offer is ever perfect. Perfection is found within the art of the negotiation. These are the moments when a relentless pursuit of our client’s needs is applied and achieved with class, dignity and our respect for people.

Step 6

Finalizing the sale

As we approach the closing, we ensure all final details are mapped out and put into place. This includes managing all the paperwork, setting move-in and move day details, handling the myriad of requests from the buyers and their representatives and more. Our goal is to create the most seamless and eventless transfer of ownership possible.
